Island Friends Roatan

An Established Non-profit 501c3

OUR MISSION

Island Friends Roatan Charity has as a mission to be a central hub/coordinating point for donations, volunteer efforts and new projects. Our goal is to organize, connect and take action on local projects for people in need. We wish to offer both donors and projects a transparent way of acting as an 'umbrella' that can accept monies, donations and volunteers for many organizations.

This year we have started to adopt smaller projects in rural areas and provide them with resources, donations and volunteers. These projects do not have access to the web but we would be glad to send you information about their needs and personally take you to the sight if you wish to volunteer!

OUR GOAL

The Island Friends goal is to organize, connect and take action on local projects for people in need. We support the efforts for better health, medical facilities, infant and child care, women’s issues, education, ending pediatric aids and caring for those already infected, reef conservation, participation in sports and music, trade and vocational schools, the humane treatment of animals and the opportunities for tutoring and scholarships. We also believe in helping people help themselves.
